/ 28 October 2020

THE UNIVERSITY of the Philippines Visayas College of Management alumni batch Bluechips93 donated tablets in support of the school’s ‘ISKompyuter Drive’.

“Bluechips93 gave 10 tablets, ranging from 8-inch to 3-inch, amounting to P77,900 which were intended to be for the use of UPV CM’s students,” the university said.

“The alumni batch chose three accountancy students, two marketing students, and five management students to be the beneficiaries,” it added.

UPV CM Dean Prof. Arthur Barrido, Jr. and the beneficiaries received the gadgets. The Bluechips93 was represented by Jennifer Koa-Chua, Milyn Leghid, and Arllene Castro.

College Secretary Prof. John Lorenz Belanio, college organization advisers Prof. Christopher Honorario, Prof. Charis Bautista, and Office of Alumni Relations OIC-Director Prof. Maria Theresa Albaña witnessed the turnover of the gadgets.

‘ISKompyuter Drive’ is the university’s call to its alumni and other benefactors to support students this school year to help them cope with the demands of remote learning. It is in line with UP System’s Kaagapay sa Pag-aaral program.
