UP DILIMAN WINS SILVER AWARD IN 2023 ARTA REPORT CARD SURVEY

/ 19 November 2024

THE UNIVERSITY of the Philippines Diliman has once again received the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) Report Card Survey Silver Award for its very satisfactory performance in the 2023 RCS 2.0 cycle.

This recognition is granted under Republic Act No. 11032, the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018 and is based on government service users’ perceptions of service quality and efficiency.

Three UPD units were evaluated by ARTA: the Office of the Student Housing, the University Food Service, and the University Library, whose performance contributed to the achievement.

The 2023 evaluation cycle involved 860 government offices, a significant increase from the 50 agencies assessed in 2022, showing the government’s ongoing efforts to improve public service delivery.

UPD was among 96 government agencies to receive the Silver Award, with 64 agencies earning the Gold Award for exceptional performance.

UPD Vice Chancellor for Administration Adeline Pacia and HRDO Director Arthur A. Gonzales III accepted the award during the ceremonies at the Conrad Manila Hotel in Pasay City.
