UP DILIMAN SUSPENDS ALL ACTIVITIES FROM MARCH 29 TO APRIL 4
The University of the Philippines-Diliman Student Council announced today that all class activities will be suspended until April 4.
The decision was prompted by the government’s decision to place Metro Manila under enhanced community quarantine.
“University Student Council requested, in lieu of a formal action particularly suspending class activities and deadlines, an official announcement to reaffirm and reiterate to strictly uphold the March 29-April 4 break, with the added basis of the ECQ that further burdens the academic community,” the group said.
The ECQ in the National Capital Region and four nearby provinces starts on March 29 and will last until April 4.
The council said that it is collating student grievances and concerns via bit.ly/USCGrievance.
It said further announcements will be released in the Facebook page of the UPD USC.
