A UNIVERSITY of the Philippines Diliman graduate topped the Social Worker Licensure Examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission this month.

Gian Paul Cajilig Salanio led the successful examinees with a score of 88.80 percent.

Meanwhile, Nevien Siquira Mariz Dandoy of Colegio De San Francisco Javier in Zamboanga del Norte ranked second with a rating of 88.20 while Fiona Yvannie Tonido Murillo ranked third with 87.80.

The PRC said 2,955 out of 4,723 passed the exam.

The examination, given by the Board of Social Workers, was held in in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

Meanwhile, PRC said that the registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Cards as well as the Certificate of Registration will be announced on a later date.
