UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHEASTERN PHILIPPINES STUDENTS GET ACADEMIC BREAK

/ 8 November 2020

THE UNIVERSITY of Southeastern Philippines in Davao del Sur will implement a ‘midterm break’ to give its students and faculty members a breather after a month of distance learning.

The break will start November 9 until November 14, the USeP said.

The USeP hopes that the break will provide students ample time to deal with their backlogs and catch up with learning amid the Covid19 pandemic.

“To provide students and faculty ample time to catch up on the learning materials and pending tasks, the University will have a Midterm Break from 9 to 14 November 2020,” USeP said on Facebook.

The USeP has also advised its faculty members to refrain from handing out assignments and school works for the duration of the break.

“Further, faculty members are enjoined to refrain from giving out assignments and conducting online classes during the scheduled midterm break,” it added.

Meanwhile, students in the comment section of the announcement thanked its administration for their decision to implement a break.
