UNIVERSITY OF SAN CARLOS STUDENTS BAG AWARDS IN BUSINESS LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
STUDENTS of the University of San Carlos shone in the Business Leadership Program of the American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines.
Three members of the USC delegation bagged awards for presenting the best business plans.
BSBA Marketing Management student Mark Joseph Daclan placed first and won the Best Male Presenter award while BSBA Finance Management students Mary Nathalie Hortezano and Charlene Mae Chan ranked second and third, respectively.
Also part of the group were Finance Management students Kate Alesson Laurente and Arvin Justin Lim.
AmCham gathers the “best of the best” student delegates in the Philippines every year for a month-long program where participants are given a chance to join panel discussions and listen to speakers.
During the event, delegates were grouped into teams of five to propose a social enterprise whose aim is to provide solutions to two of the United Nations’ Social Development Goals.
