IDINEKLARA ng Philippine Economic Zone Authority bilang special economic zone for science and technology ang University of Perpetual Help DALTA System Molino.

Lumagda si PEZA Director General Charito B. Plaza sa isang kasunduan sa UPHDS bilang opisyal na pagkilala sa campus bilang isang espesyal na economic zone institute ng Knowledge, Innovation, Science and Technology.

Ayon sa PEZA, ang unibersidad ang unang pribadong institusyong pang-edukasyon na kinilala bilang isang KIST ecozone.

Ang UPHDS  ay nagtatayo ngayon ng AltaHub innovation institute para sa mga programang pangkalusugan, negosyo, at teknolohiya.

“AltaHub shall become the bridge between the educational institution and the needs of various industries in the country as they will serve as a research and development facility not only for the University but also for the neighboring towns and areas,” pahayag ng PEZA.
