THE UNIVERSITY of Mindanao announced that the application for scholarship for the second semester of Academic Year 2020-2021 is now open.

The university said the same requirements apply for old students.

New students, meanwhile, must have an average grade of 95 percent and above and a certificate from the high school principal stating that the applicant is an honor student to qualify for the scholarship.

There will also be scholarships for Indigenous Peoples and persons with disability, the university said.

There will also be 10 percent discount for full cash payment of tuition before the first quarter examination and “family discount” when three or more siblings are enrolled in UM.

The application period is until January 11, 2021.
