AN OFFICIAL of the University of Mindanao was named Outstanding Individual in the Field of Writing at the Instabright Global Excellence Awards 2023.

Dr. Ronnie Amorado, senior vice president for Academic Affairs, was recognized for his works in the past 15 years.

Amorado has received national and international book awards for his writings.

“In the field of writing, Dr. Amorado was nominated by publishers and was sponsored by the same upon qualification after a thorough review,” UM said.

The Global Excellence Award is a national award given annually by the Instabright Publication, which is a chapter-member of the Instabright International Guild of Writers, Researchers, and Educators.

National awardees qualify for the international Instabright awards.
