CALOOCAN City Mayor Oscar ‘Oca’ Malapitan recognized and awarded cash gifts to the graduates of the University of Caloocan with honors.

UCC honor students received a cash award of P10,000 for Cum Laude and P20,000 for Magna Cum Laude.

It has also recognized the topnotcher in the Licensure Examination for Teachers.

Jolina Gutierrez placed ninth in the LET in the elementary level.

Gutierrez received P30,000 for her outstanding achievement. Her parents accepted it on her behalf.

Malapitan was overjoyed and extended his congratulations to the students who graduated and brought honor to the city.

“Talagang mahuhusay ang mga mag-aaral ng University of Caloocan City. Maraming salamat sa patuloy na pagbibigay ninyo ng karangalan sa ating unibersidad maging sa ating lungsod. Kayo ang patunay na naibibigay ng UCC ang dekalidad na edukasyon para sa mga kabataan ng Caloocan. Congratulations!” he said.
