OFFICIALS of the University of Batangas, through the College of Arts and Sciences and the Political Science Department, met with Sangguniang Kabataan candidates to help them prepare for their tasks if they win in the elections on October 30,2023.

“It was made clear that when these young leaders run for office and emerge victorious, they become not only representatives of their respective communities but also ambassadors for CAS and the University of Batangas,” the department said.

School officials said that students who are seeking elective posts should uphold the values and principles of their academic institution.

The meeting held on October 24 aimed to acknowledge the dedication and passion of the aspirants to make a positive impact on society.

The CAS department prepared a series of activities for the candidates to prepare them for their leadership roles and to provide training and guidance that they will need during their service.
