UNIVERSITY OF ANTIQUE TO HOLD WEBINAR ON COMPUTER VISION SYNDROME
THE UNIVERSITY of Antique will hold a webinar about computer vision syndrome to help its students take care of their sight amid online learning.
The webinar will tackle the effects of prolonged computer use on the eyes.
Dubbed “kUrApun: The Computer Vision Syndrome”, the webinar was organized by three campus health service units, headed by Hamitic Campus University Physician Dr. Hena Charma Amarante-Saldavia.
“In the midst of the pandemic, we are all forced to switch to online classes and work. This shift required us to stay in front of our computers for longer periods which may pose great risks to our eyes,” UA said on Facebook.
“We will all be joined by our UA Hamitic Campus University Physician Dr. Hena Charma Amarante- Saldavia…as we learn more about this syndrome and discover ways to protect our eyes,'” it added.
The webinar will be streamed via Zoom and Facebook on December 23, 2020.
