UNIVERSITIES INK PARTNERSHIP WITH PRIVATE SECTORS FOR MEDICAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

THREE universities in Visayas have inked a partnership with Bloomberry Cultural Foundation, Inc. and Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc. for the Medical Scholarship Program which will support deserving students in pursuing courses in the medical field.

THREE universities in Visayas have inked a partnership with Bloomberry Cultural Foundation, Inc. and Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc. for the Medical Scholarship Program which will support deserving students in pursuing courses in the medical field.

Representatives from the University of the Philippines Visayas, West Visayas State University, and Iloilo Science and Technology University signed the Memorandum of Agreement on May 22, according to UP Visayas.

PFSI Executive Director Sebastian C. Quiniones Jr. also welcomed the partner institutions and funder of the scholarship program, BCFI.

On its website, UP Visayas said that the MSP aims to support deserving students pursuing degrees in Doctor of Medicine, STEM, and Allied Health courses at various undergraduate academic levels, including technical vocational programs.

“The partnership with selected SUCs and institutions nationwide is an opportunity for students pursuing studies in the fields of medical, allied health, sciences, and engineering to get scholarships.”
