UNIVERSIDAD DE ZAMBOANGA LAUNCHES WEIGHT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
TO ENCOURAGE its personnel to keep fit, the Universidad De Zamboanga rolled out a Weight Management Program to improve the lifestyle of its employees.
The program is an eight-week challenge designed to help participants lose weight and improve their health and vitality. It includes weight loss techniques, dietary changes and exercise.
“To improve wellness and lead a healthier lifestyle among employees, Universidad De Zamboanga through the Safety, Health, Environment Department as the implementing department, pursues Weight Management Program,” the school said.
There were 16 participants who underwent medical clearance, weight loss orientation and proper weigh-in in the university clinic.
UZ Executive Vice President Kathryn Rose Kuan, F45 Training Zamboanga Head Trainer Nonie June Canones, F45 Training Studio Manager Dr. Jo-Anne Bernardo and University Physician Dr. Aeesha Yahcob Pingli head the program.
The winner of the challenge will be announced on March 17 and will receive a membership in the F45 Training Zamboanga.
