UNIVERSIDAD DE ZAMBOANGA ACHIEVES HERD IMMUNITY
THE UNIVERSIDAD de Zamboanga has achieved herd immunity among its population after a series of vaccination drives.
The school said that 98 percent of its 470 employees have completed their vaccination.
Meanwhile, 856 of its 861 high school students have been vaccinated, while 6,321 of 7,451 college students have received their shots.
Booster shots for employees, students, and the public were administered by the team of UZ in its vaccination center.
A total of 27,177 shots were administered from July 12, 2021 to January 15, 2022.
UZ resumed its limited face-to-face classes for allied health services students last September.
