UNIBERSIDAD de Dagupan in Pangasinan appointed its first woman president.

Dr. Feliza Arzadon-Sua took over the position from her father, Dr. Voltaire P. Arzadon, who served the institution for 39 years.

Arzadon-Sua first served as an internal auditor and later became the Vice President for Administration and Vice President for Academic Affairs of the institution.

Arzadon-Sua’s plans for the institution were outlined in her acceptance speech. These included fostering meaningful connections, enriching the learning and teaching environment, utilizing UdD’s strengths, implementing employment initiatives for graduates, encouraging zeal for service and administration, and achieving both international and national distinctions.

The turnover and investiture ceremonies were held on March 23, 2023.

Officials from the Commission on Higher Education, Department of Education, local government units, members of the university administration, faculty, staff, and students attended the ceremony.
