UNIBERSIDAD DE MANILA RESUMES SYNCHRONOUS CLASSES
The Unibersidad de Manila has resumed synchronous classes even with the extension of the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine in Metro Manila.
It said that the decision was reached in consideration of the approaching end of the second semester of the School Year 2020-2021.
The UDM suspended synchronous classes when the government placed the National Capital Region and nearby provinces under MECQ in April to curb soaring Covid19 cases.
It said that make-up classes can be conducted using asynchronous classes.
“If you want to conduct make-up classes in the synchronous mode you may do so in your asynchronous schedules but you should inform and seek approval first from your classes. Attendance must not be mandatory during make-up classes,” the school said.
Graduating students will have their final exam on May 17 to 22, 2021, while undergraduate students will have their on May 24 to 29, 2021.
Those enrolled in graduate and professional programs will be have their Final exam on May 23 to 30, 2021.
