UERM GRADUATE TOPS PHYSICAL THERAPIST LICENSURE EXAM
A GRADUATE of the University of the East-Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center topped the Physical Therapist Licensure Examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission this month.
Khio Jerick Donguines Jumarang led the successful examinees with a score of 89.30%.
Lizzy jane Niquole Yap Ricardo and Kris Elaine Gavia Lopez, both from the De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, placed second and third, respectively.
Ricardo got a score of 89.10% while Lopez had 88.95%.
The PRC said 1,186 out of 1,981 passed the examinations which were held in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, and Pampanga.
The top performing school with 40 or more test takers was the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, with a passing rate of 95.88% as 93 of its 97 examinees passed.
It was followed by the University of Santo Tomas with a rating of 95.16% and Silliman University with 88.37%.
Meanwhile, the PRC also announced that 241 out of 484 test takers passed the Occupational Therapist Licensure Examination.
Lindy Jalan Jimenez Aviles of Velez College and Kym Rodillo Sambo of Angeles University Foundation tied for the top spot in the occupational therapist exam, both finishing with 83.60%.
The top performing school with 20 or more test takers in the OTLE was the University of the Philippines Manila, with all 30 of its examinees passing.
