UE TO GIVE JAB PRIORITY TO ENGINEERING AND TOURISM STUDENTS
AS PART of the preparations for the holding of limited face-to-face classes, the University of the East will prioritize the vaccination of Engineering, Tourism and Hospitality Management students.
UE President Ester Garcia said the Lucio Tan group offered free inoculation for students of the three programs.
“Ang hinihingi ko ngayon Engineering and then ‘yung Tourism, and Hospitality Management,” Garcia said. “Para i-prioritize sila kung sakaling mayroong mabilis na source ng vaccine, sila na ang mauna.”
The UE President earlier said that the school aims to conduct physical classes for the said programs in its Manila and Caloocan campuses by January 2022.
Meanwhile, the Central Student Council will hold a vaccination drive for UE-Caloocan students this semester.
Dubbed as “Bakuna Bus,” the project will be facilitated in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross Caloocan Chapter.
