A STUDENT group at the University of the East bagged the outstanding UNESCO club for 2022 award in the college level-culture category.

A report by the school’s publication the RedWire said that UE Buklod Sining was recognized for its achievements and advocacies that endeavored to pursue the ideals and thrusts of UNESCO.

With this achievement, Buklod Sining is now a finalist for the Most Outstanding UNESCO Club in the college level.

The panel interview will be held on Wednesday, September 28 via Zoom.

According to UNESCO club Philippines, the award honors the exemplary pioneering initiatives and noble struggles of student leaders who helped advance the direction of the non-profit organization.

It also intends to show the general public examples of achieving UNESCO’s objectives to advance community empowerment toward development.
