UE MANILA SUSPENDS SYNCHRONOUS CLASSES
THE UNIVERSITY of the East-Manila suspended all synchronous classes for six days because of the devastation wrought by Typhoon Ulysses.
The university announced that the suspension of synchronous classes will cover the Manila and Caloocan campuses.
“In light of the aftermath of Typhoon Ulysses, UE President Ester A. Garcia has declared that UE Manila and UE Caloocan—including the Graduate School and the College of Law—will hold asynchronous classes only in all levels from Monday, November 16, 2020, to Saturday, November 21, 2020,” it said.
Garcia said that students were not required to submit academic requirements during those dates unless they wanted to.
No quizzes or exams will also be given on those dates.
The four typhoons that hit the country caused substantial damage in several regions in Luzon, including Metro Manila.
