“Congratulations to UE College of Engineering (CEng’g)-Caloocan graduate Keinaz Nava Domingo for being recognized as one of the Top 10 Global Ethical Hackers for the Third Quarter (July) of 2020 by the International Council of E-Commerce Consultants (EC Council)—the first Filipino to be in the Global Ethical Hacking Leaderboard!” UE said in a statement.

Ethical hacking is an authorized profession wherein hackers breach system securities to identify potential data breaches and weak points which can be exploited by malicious individuals.

To be placed among the top ethical hackers’ leaderboard, one must solve a series of security-related challenges and complex scenarios that are based on real-world experiences.

Dominguez garnered a total of 77 percent score passing representatives from the Netherlands, Russia, and the United States, respectively.

While the top three candidates came from the USA, Turkey, and Indonesia, respectively.

The school also noted that Dominguez is an accomplished scholar when he was still studying at the university as he garnered multiple awards with two of his researches being published in international journals.
