UE COLLEGE OF DENTISTRY LOWERS LAB FEES
THE UNIVERSITY of the East has lowered the laboratory fees of undergraduate and graduate dentistry students.
The reduced fees takes effect in the second semester of Academic Year 2020-2021.
The fees for clinic, clinical case, and infection control were also adjusted.
“Students will receive a corresponding refund this semester, however, students are advised to submit an application for refund thru email at [email protected],” the university’s College of Dentistry said in a memorandum dated February 10.
Last month, the UE Dentistry Student Council urged the university to disclose the tuition allocation for the second semester amid the implementation of online clinics.
The council called for the waiving of clinical fees since students provide their own resources such as utilities, dental equipment, and facilities.
The university said learners will have a corresponding credit adjustment that will be deducted from their tuition and miscellaneous fees next semester.
Students who paid in installment will have lower outstanding balance this semester.
Students can call the Student Accounts Section at 8-7335471 local 347 if they have questions or concerns.
