UE ACCOUNTANCY PROGRAM SECURES PRC COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATION
THE BACHELOR of Science in Accountancy program of the University of the East-Caloocan has been granted a certificate of compliance by the Professional Regulatory Board of Accountancy of the Professional Regulation Commission.
The certificate validates the school’s proper implementation of the BSA program in accordance with national standards and requirements.
PRBOA Board Member Maria Teresita Z. Dimaculangan and PRC representative Cherry Rose S. Escoben inspected the College’s documents and processes to ensure compliance.
Key requirements reviewed included updated professional licenses and PRBOA accreditations of Accountancy faculty members, faculty teaching loads, subject preparations, memberships in professional organizations, and the College’s retention policy for the BSA program.
The inspecting officers also visited the Caloocan Campus facilities, including the Benjamin G. Chua Jr. Library to assess its conduciveness for BSA students, and the computer laboratories to check on the accounting software being used.
“Finding that the College is fully compliant with the requirements set forth by the PRBOA under Republic Act 9298 or the Philippine Accountancy Act of 2004, and in line with CHED Memorandum Order No. 27, Series of 2017, the PRC issued the certificate of compliance to UE CBA Caloocan with June 25, 2025, as the effectivity date,” UE said.
“The certificate of compliance is good for up to three years from the date of issuance, and can be renewed by the College before the expiration date,” it added.
