UA&P PROF RECEIVES ECONOMY OF FRANCESCO ACADEMY RESEARCH GRANT
A PROFESSOR from the University of Asia and the Pacific was one of the recipients of the research grant of the Economy of Francesco Academy in Italy.
The grant will enable Viory Yvonne Janeo to attend and contribute to the monthly seminars organized by the EoF Scientific Committee.
Janeo will be mentored by a professor from the Scientific Committee. She will submit a research paper at the end of the fellowship program.
EoF is a worldwide community of young economists, entrepreneurs, and change-makers working toward a more ethical, sustainable, and inclusive economic models.
It was set up following the invitation of Pope Francis in 2019 to students, economists, and entrepreneurs under 35 to not leave anyone behind in the pursuit of a better economy.
Recipients of the research grants are chosen based on their scientific production, the originality of the project, its consistency with the inspiring principles of EoF, and the attitude emerging from the proposal, among other criteria.
