TWO alumni of the UST Graduate School of Law were among the 100 recipients of the Gawad Pilipino 2025 Hero Award, held on August 30, 2025.

GS Law academic staff Assoc. Prof. Allesandra Fay V. Albarico, DCL, and Atty. Mykedox Knoel T. Cuchapin, DCL, were recognized as “Outstanding Uniformed Personnel of the Philippines.”

The ceremony honored Filipinos who have made significant contributions to public service, particularly in uniformed sectors.

Both Albarico and Cuchapin are noted for their dedication to national service and their excellence in the legal profession.

The Gawad Pilipino Hero Award is celebrated every August in line with National Heroes Month. This year’s theme was: “Mga Natatanging Pilipino: Isang Diwa, Isang Lahi, Isang Bayanihan.”
