A STUDENT from the Technological University of the Philippines-Visayas topped the Electronics Engineers Licensure Examination given this month with a rating of 91.80%.

Niele Shem Geronimo Banas led the 1,330 successful examinees. The Professional Regulation Commission said that 3,130 took the exams.

Joaquin Mateo Rivera Jison of the University of the Philippines Diliman placed second with a score of 91.10%.

The PRC said the best performing school was the UP Diliman, with all of its takers passing for a success rate of 100%.

The commission also announced the results of the April 2024 Electronics Technician Licensure Examination.

Dexter Pelaez Astroga of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines Sto. Tomas got the highest score of 95%.

He was followed by Sean Cristopher Dalusong Garcia of the TUP Manila with a rating of 93%.

The PRC said 1,819 passed the exams.

The top performing schools with 50 or more examinees with at least 80% passing percentage are TUP Visayas (93.06); PUP Sta. Mesa (91.30); Iloilo Science and Technology University Main (88); TUP Manila (82.88); and Batangans State University Alangilan (81.16).
