TUA OFFICIALS VISIT GERMANY, AUSTRIA TO EXPAND ACADEMIC PARTNERSHIPS
OFFICIALS of the Trinity University of Asia visited Germany and Austria last month to broaden its academic horizons.
University President Dr. Gisela D.A. Luna and the Dean of the St. Luke’s College of Nursing (SLCN) Dr. John Michael O. Lorena, engaged in strategic discussions aimed at deepening existing partnerships and exploring new collaborations in healthcare and education.
TUA delegates met with Pro Civitate, a partner operating over 20 nursing homes in Germany, which funded the SLCN Geriatric Nursing Laboratory in the Philippines. Discussions reinforced commitments to academic excellence and cultural exchange.
In Austria, TUA joined a Programme Visit with C&C Human Resource Development and the University of Applied Sciences for Health Professions Upper Austria, highlighting educational practices and research facilities for future collaborations.
A Letter of Intent was signed between TUA and the University of Applied Sciences for Health Professions Upper Austria, formalizing commitments to academic collaboration, student exchanges, and joint research initiatives.
“This visit represents a major advancement in TUA’s efforts to enhance educational opportunities and international collaborations,” the school said.
“Through these partnerships, TUA is broadening its academic horizons and providing its students and faculty with invaluable international experiences and perspectives,” it added.
