TSU TO ACT ON PLAGIARIZED ART OF STUDENTS

THE TARLAC State University said it will act on a plagiarism incident, after some art pieces were alleged to have been copied at its exhibit.

In a statement, TSU said that one of the art works in question will be pulled from the exhibit for investigation.

“TSU strives to attain integrity and excellence in all its endeavors. In this regard, the university administration is working closely with the College of Architecture and Fine Arts to investigate the matter,”the university said in a statement.

TSU’s Fine Arts department also reached out to the artists via email for further investigation.

“Rest assured that the university is actively taking steps to resolve and deal with this issue appropriately. TSU will work harder to ensure integrity and excellence,”it added.

Students from the comment section of TSU also highlighted other similar instances and urged the university to act on the matter, eventhough it has since passed.
