TIP TO CONTINUE DISTANCE LEARNING

/ 21 July 2021

TO PREVENT students from getting infected with Covid19, the Technological Institute of the Philippines will continue to hold distance learning for Academic Year 2021-2022.

The university announced the retention of its ‘Learning Experience using Alternative-Design Systems’ or TIP LEAD — the school’s remote learning strategy— which was introduced to ensure the smooth transition to remote learning due to the pandemic.

“For SY 2021-2022, TIP shall still apply modular delivery of its online and flexible learning courses for undergraduate and graduate program students,” TIP said.

“The modular approach is TIP’s strategic move to provide students with a study-life balance since they shall only deal with 3 or fewer courses every 6 weeks until the semester ends,” it added.

The university said the components of LEAD are re-engineered education ecosystem, strengthened IT infrastructure, a student-friendly online learning pace and convenient online application and enrollment.

It also has a synergistic delivery of relevant online student services, the transition of the TIP Career Center into a virtual one, modular delivery of courses for undergraduate students, free online study group tutorial service, and an online library service.

“TIP shall continuously improve TIP LEADS with the students’ needs in mind. Each new component that shall be added serve as a testament to TIP’s commitment to innovate itself so TIP-ians receive the high-quality education and a holistic student experience that empowers them towards a successful future,” the school said.
