TARLAC STATE U WELCOMES NEW PRESIDENT

THE TARLAC State University formally welcomed its new president, Dr. Arnold Velasco, who assumed his post on April 1, 2022.

Velasco replaced Dr. Myrna Mallari, the university’s 5th president.

His term will be until  March 31, 2026.

Velasco was the former vice president for Academic Affairs of the Tarlac Agricultural University.

The Work, the official student publication of the university, said that Velasco also served as the dean of the College of Education of TAU from 2014 to 2016, and director of admission and registration services from 2016 to 2020.

He also directed the research and development of TAU from 2020-2021.
