SIX STUDENTS of the Tarlac State University entered the second stage of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang School Rivals Regionals Tournament.

The TSU Firefox team composed of Lester Lumanlan, Ryan San Pedro, Kurt Vincentina, Euro Cayapan, Vince Ugin Oasin and Humphrey Iro Dijamco will compete with the team from the Technical University of the Philippines-Taguig Campus in their Luzon B opener.

Lumanlan said members of the team had to adjust their schedules so as not to affect their online classes.

“Tamang adjust-adjust lang kami sa oras kahit late na, game pa rin kami sa practice para lang matuloy,” Lumanlan said.

He admitted that their prior match was tough and the team expects tougher battles ahead with stronger opponents.

This motivated the team to train harder.

Teams under the Luzon B bracket will play in a double-elimination format. The team who will win in their respective brackets will advance to the third stage of the tournament to be held next month.

The tournament’s prize pool is estimated to reach up to 1 million diamonds, which can be used to purchase various in-game “skins” online.
