TARLAC STATE U EYEING TO ENHANCE RESEARCH OUTPUTS FOR QUALITY EDUCATION

/ 29 May 2022

THE TARLAC State University is working on the enhancement of its research outputs as another step in improving human potential by offering quality higher education and fostering fair access to education for professional growth.

School president Dr. Arnold Velasco reiterated this as he believes in order to expand opportunities and attract funding organizations, professors and students must improve their research.

“Doing research has many advantages and will not only give personnel incentives but also opportunities to present their research abroad and use them for promotion,” he said.

TSU is now classified as State Universities and Colleges Level 3 institution, and plans to upgrade to a Level 4 status in the first year of the new administration.

Meanwhile, Velasco highlighted human resource development as one of his major goals.

Staff can be honed and sent to graduate programs at various colleges to reach such goal.

The school president evaluated the university’s scholarship contract and offered a strategy to encourage employees to continue their education by enrolling in graduate school.
