SWAB TEST FOR UNVAXXED ATTENDING BUKSU GRAD RITES
UNVACCINATED individuals will be allowed to participate in the 88th graduation rites of the Bukidnon State University.
The event will be held from June 21 to 24.
The university said students and parents who do not have vaccination proof may present a negative swab test upon entry.
The Office of the President said the move is aimed to accommodate unvaccinated individuals, in contrast to its earlier pronouncement to make the graduation rites voluntary for those unvaccinated.
The swab results must be within three days prior to the graduation from government-accredited testing centers.
Upon entering the venue, participants are required to bring hygiene kits and observe minimum health standards.
The university will hold its first physical graduation rites on its main campus and satellite campuses since the onset of the Covid19 pandemic in 2020.
