STUDENTS of Saint Louis University aired on social media their disappointment over the university’s 3-day academic break.

SLU announced on Tuesday that there will be an academic break from November 15 to 17.

The students joked that the waiting time for the announcement was longer than the actual break.

“Salamat sa ‘Academic Blink,’” one student said.

“Mas mahaba pa ‘yung waiting time kaysa sa acad break, ayos k lods,” another said.

Students earlier called for a break saying they need a breather to take care of themselves.

They noted that several of their peers committed suicide due to the hardships of distance learning and asked the administration for compassion amid the implementation of distance learning.
