/ 11 August 2020

THE SCHOOL Division Office of San Jose Del Monte City and Kakawate National High School have joined forces to assist students and parents in using the DepEd Commons.

Students have been taught to use DepEd Commons for interactive quizzes and in downloading modular lectures.

“Sa tulong ng teknolohiya bilang isa sa mga sandata laban sa pandemya, pinatunayan lamang na kaya pa ring matuto ng mga estudyante ng KNHS kahit pa sarado na ang silid-aralan,” they said.

DepEd Commons is an online platform for public school teachers to support distance learning modalities.

It was designed as a direct solution to give access to online review materials and Open Educational Resources  during class suspensions and other similar circumstances.

Meanwhile, SDO Dasmariñas, Cavite has partnered with DASCA Cable Services, Inc. in delivering DASCAAlaman TV.

The cable service will air educational programs for blended learning modalities and will give television-based instructions to students.

SDO Dasmariñas thanked DASCA President Mark Adrian Reyes, General Manager John Alvin Morelos and Marketing Manager Cathy dela Rea for the undertaking.

DepEd also continues to distribute printed learning modules in different regions with the help of the SDOs and schools.
