/ 26 January 2024

A STUDENT from St. Scholastica’s College in Manila is among the Top 5 finalists in the 34th Jose Rizal Model Students of the Philippines tilt organized by the Knights of Rizal.

Andria Dimaranan, a BSBA Marketing Management major, received the award last month at the KOR International Headquarters.

The annual search for Ten Outstanding Jose Rizal Model Students of the Philippines seeks to recognize the best students from different colleges and universities who showcased their excellence, just like our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal.

During the event, the finalists attended a one-day Rizalian Program and underwent a final interview with the Board of Judges.

The top five winners received cash prizes, trophies, medals, and certificates during the Rizal Day program and awarding ceremony.

The school commended Dimaranan for her achievement.

“Your achievement showed how you embraced excellence in academics and student leadership. May your accomplishment serve as an inspiration for the entire Scholastican community as we continuously journey toward an empowered future,” it wrote on Facebook on Thursday.

KOR is a civic group formed through Republic Act No. 646.
