ST. DOMINIC College in Bacoor, Cavite has declared a six-day virtual timeout for its students to help them prepare for their midterm examinations.

In its official Facebook page, the school said that there will be no synchronous and asynchronous classes from October 26‬ to 31.

“We will be having a Virtual Time-Out for Higher Education from October 26-31, 2020‬. As such, there will be no synchronous and asynchronous classes for the aforementioned dates,” it announced.

The school said the break will give the students time to enhance their thinking skills.

“During the virtual break, you will be on self-paced learning to enhance your critical and logical thinking skills in preparation for your upcoming Midterm Examination,” the college said.

Other schools and universities have declared academic breaks for the wellness and well-being of their students.
