ST. BENILDE STUDENT BAGS TOP PRIZE IN FASHION DESIGN COMPETITION
A FASHION Design and Merchandising student from De La Salle-College of St. Benilde claimed the top prize at the Mary Kay & ArtsThread Challenge 2020-2021.
This year’s participants were challenged to create a 360 omni-channel brand story with the goal to introduce the core values, advocacies and heritage of the beauty line to women ages 20 to 25.
The “#daretobe” campaign of third year student Nina Elicaño bested other diverse proposals from around the globe and claimed the competition’s top prize.
Elicaño received a $2,000 cash prize aside from her award.
The event gathers and motivates student-artists, budding communicators and marketers from all over the world to channel their visions for the next-generation brand campaign.
The contest was co-hosted by Mary Kay Inc., an American cosmetics company and ArtsThread, the global leading digital platform and creative launchpad that represents over 100 countries.
