THE SULU State College’s School of Nursing has started a campaign on the importance of Covid19 vaccines.

Dubbed “Pag awwal ha tutukasan Sakit Panyakit,” the information drive will be held in 8 villages in Jolo, Sulu from April 5 to April 30, 2021.

The first participants were the 4Ps beneficiaries in barangay Chinese Pier. They  were given leaflets that contained information on vaccines.

The information drive was in collaboration with the Jolo municipal government and the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

A report from Pulse Asia said that 6 in 10 Filipinos are hesitant to get vaccinated against Covid19.
