THE SOUTHERN Luzon State University is looking for an information and publication officer for the office of the president, its Human Resource and Management Office said on Facebook.

Applicants must have a communication-related degree, excellent writing skills, proficient in using social media applications and editing software, have good networking skills and a sense of punctuality.

The school offers a salary of P22,000 for the position.

The publication officer will be responsible for the write ups regarding the concerns of the office and the preparation of information materials. He or she will also act as social media manager, handle press related concerns, assist in the preparation of the annual report and provide technical communication assistance to the office.

The school is also looking for a design architect to handle its infrastructure projects.

Meanwhile, the university has also endorsed an information drive on why Quezon Province is the “Mangrove Haven of the Philippines” in collaboration with the USAID and the US Department of the Interior.
