THE SOUTHERN Luzon State University signed an agreement with the local government unit of Mauban, Quezon and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority for the implementation of community development projects.
SLSU on Tuesday said that the partnership will provide psychological services led by its psychology department.
“Through the partnership, the psychology department will provide psychological and other services such as [training], seminars, interventions, and workshops to the [clientele] served by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office of the municipality,” it said.
Its partnership with TESDA, meanwhile, will lead to the establishment of the Quezon Province Industry and Agro-Fishery Board.
“Some of the roles and responsibilities of the QPIAFB include [the] provision of necessary labor market information to TESDA in aid of policy and program decisions, provision of inputs/signals in the development of the area-based skill map, and lead in the conduct of industry consultations, among many others,” the university said.
