THE SOUTHERN Luzon State University based in Quezon province was granted an additional budget of P14.7 million for its medical programs.

The Department of Budget and Management approved the release of
P14,725,000 to allow the university to beef up its programs, particularly its nursing and allied health courses.

SLSU has also opened its Doctor of Medicine program.

The additional allocation for 2022 was requested by the university and allotted under the General Appropriations Act.

The transfer of the amount will be subjected to pertinent budgetary, accounting and auditing rules.
