SOUTHERN LEYTE STATE U TO HOLD F2F CLASSES SOON
THE SOUTHERN Leyte State University is set to hold limited face-to-face classes soon, an official said.
Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Annabelle M. Hufalar said that in-person learning will soon resume as the university has recovered from the effects of Typhoon Odette.
Hulafar said that the reopening of classes has been discussed with local government officials.
She added that the school’s vaccination rate is high.
The university applied for clearance for the holding of physical classes for several programs — industrial technology, food technology, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and hotel, restaurant and tourism management.
“Our unvaccinated students and employees can still participate during the class but it has to be done online. We have to make sure that we protect our students at all cost,” Hulafar said.
