THE SORSOGON State University has inked a pact with the An Giang University from Vietnam for academic cooperation.

SorSU said that the partnership is part of its goals for internationalization and fostering faculty and student development.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the two institutions via Zoom last Friday.

Under the agreement, faculty and student developments, as well as internationalization of SorSU’s secondary education program will be promoted alongside other academic activities.

This includes development of joint degree and double degree programs, visitations, exchange of academic resources, and joint collaborations on research and activities, scholarships, among others.

To kick start the pact, a total of 12 English major students will be sent to An Giang University for their internship program and will be accompanied by two faculty members.
