SLU-SHMC WINS GRAND PRIZE IN SAFE HOSPITAL AWARD
SAINT Louis University-Sacred Heart Medical Center won the Level III Grand Prize in the Safe Hospital Award in the 45th Annual National Convention of the Private Hospitals Association of the Philippines Inc.
The award recognized SLU-SHMC’s exemplary dedication to patient safety and its commitment to maintaining the highest quality healthcare standards.
Hospital Legal Officer Atty. Brian Jonathan Paraan accepted the award on behalf of SLU-SHMC, with the Office of Patient Experience playing a key role in demonstrating the hospital’s safety initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
“SLU-SHMC’s outstanding recognition aligns with the Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being,” said the university.
“By advocating a culture of safety and embracing innovative practices, SLU-SHMC is not only contributing to improving healthcare outcomes but also advancing the global agenda of ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages,” it added.
The PHAPi Safe Hospital Awards 2024 emphasize the importance of people-centered health services and innovative practices in creating a culture of safety in healthcare.
