THE QUEZON Medical Center will serve as the base hospital of the Southern Luzon State University’s College of Medicine.

SLSU and QMC signed a Memorandum of Agreement on Wednesday to formalize their partnership.

The university said that the COM is expected to be operational this year.

The government allocated P111 million for the construction of the SLSU COM building.

Under the agreement, QMC will be in charge of the affiliation and training of student clerks or medical interns during their immersion activities.

SLSU, on the other hand, will handle the medical education program, academic affairs and assessment of student clerks.
