THE SULTAN Kudarat State University has given recognition to the Department of Agriculture Philippine Rural Development Project Mindanao for its contribution to the school’s research.

According to PRDP Mindanao, this is in honor of its “active partnership in the university’s research and extension undertakings that respond to the development needs of their stakeholders.”

PRDP and SKSU teamed up for projects like the Knowledge Agripreneurship and Productivity Enhancement and the Establishment of Coffee Farmer’s Profile in North Cotabato, South Cotabato, and Sarangani.

The KAPE project is a collaborative project between PRDP, SKSU, and Nestle Philippines.

The office said that the partnerships have been “crucial for decision-making for planning, programming, and identifying the different interventions that could help boost the coffee industry in Region 12.”

SKSU received P3.2 million from the PRDP Mindanao, which the school used for the said projects.
