SILLIMAN U STUDENT AMONG TOP ORALISTS IN NAT’L MOOT COURT

A LAW student from Silliman University was among the top 10 Oralists of the DivinaLaw-University of Santo Tomas Philippine Jessup Cup Moot Court Competition held last month.

Kyle Blansag, a second-year student, placed 7th in the competition.

The SU College of Law is one of the twelve schools in the country represented in the competition.

The SU College of Law team competed against law schools from Arellano University, Ateneo de Manila University, Cagayan State University, Saint Louis University, San Beda University, San Sebastian College Recoletos-Manila, University of Cebu-Banilad, University of San Carlos, UST, University of St. La Salle-Bacolod, and University of the Philippines.

Winners of the DivinaLaw-UST Philippine Jessup Cup will represent the Philippines in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, the oldest and largest international moot court competition in the world.

Since 2014, DivinaLaw and the UST Faculty of Civil Law have co-sponsored and co-organized the Philippine Jessup Cup Moot Court Competition
