DOCTOR Mariano Lao Global Studies Center of Silliman University recently partnered with Chung Yuan Christian University.

A memorandum of understanding was signed between officials of SU and CYCU.

The agreement seeks to have CYCU as potential partner of SU in online education.

Dr. Bernie Po-Tsang Huang, dean of the CYCU Office of Digital Education, led the visiting party.

“Dr. Dave E. Marcial, GSC director, and the rest of the GSC staff, met with the CYCU representatives to discuss similarities between the CYCU Office of Digital Education and the SU GSC, and possible collaborations,” SU said.

“The CYCU representatives also had a courtesy visit to the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and a campus tour with the SU Corps of Campus Ambassadors,” it added.

SU and CYCU are member institutions of the Association of Christian Universities and Colleges in Asia and the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia.
